A pair of artsy brothers are feeling the negative effects of Covid-19 first hand. From Cairo to Munich, there has been an unprecedented disruption on the arts and entertainment industry.

Yasser and Noura Sarafi, a married couple, play music at the Cairo Opera House on Jun 21, 2014. Now, their shows are completely canceled.
The Sounds you just heard are from Yasser and Noura Sarafi. They are a married couple and they are based out of Cairo, and they play at the Cairo Opera house.
Nael Tarek, who is 23 years of age, loves going to their shows, but is very disappointed they have been canceled due to Covid 19.
As a matter of fact, all events relating to art that Nael used to participate in are all canceled.
"I really like going to the cinema, most of the time by myself. I like to just get myself some popcorn and some juice and go to the movies".
"As you can see it is not within my hands anymore. The movies I can watch here but sometimes I go to the opera and listen to some music and this is not one of my options anymore. I would go to some art galleries and maybe a party from time to time but that all is gone". - Nael Tarek
Nael is not the only person grappling with the negative effects of Covid 19 on the arts and culture scene. His older brother, Nader Tarek, who is a 28 year old software engineer based out of Germany, is grappling with the fact that his Salsa class is now canceled.

Nader Tarek poses with his Salsa group in Cuba in an undated photograph. The class us now canceled due to Covid-19.
"They closed the dance academy, we are not allowed to dance anymore. It is closed for at least one or two months".
In the meantime, Nader told us what shows he is watching to keep busy during this pandemic.
"If you are interested in Artificial Intelligence, I just watched a series about the internet and artificial intelligence. The name is Artificial Intelligence". - Nader Tarek
